At our Baolala demonstration farm, we practice and teach methods that reverse this cycle. By capturing every drop of rainfall in swales, layering organic mulch, cultivating beneficial soil microbes, and planting climate-resilient trees, we demonstrate that degraded drylands can become abundant food forests.
